With digital offerings, we deal with constant changes in what is available, needed, produced, and how. As the intermediaries between providers and users, we frequently need to establish new balances and methods between the needs or customers and organizations. In doing so, we redefine the position and role of designers as well.
What this entails now is designing logical, instinctive, and elegant approaches to digital information in both appropriate and innovative ways. To do this well requires an interest in dealing with complexity, showing that it is a misconception to assume that something complex should be complicated.
I’m a designer with more than 7 years professional experience, both in agency and in-house roles, in digital product and information design. I also hold a Masters Degree in Information Design from Design Academy Eindhoven, an internationally renowned school in speculative design and research.
Currently, I live with Austin, Texas with my girlfriend Erika, and I am the Product Design Director at cyber-risk quantification startup Resilience.
