About

My Approach
What design entails now is creating logical, instinctive, and elegant approaches to digital information in both appropriate and innovative ways. To do this well requires an interest in dealing with complexity, showing that it is a misconception to assume that something complex should be complicated. This also applies to our new-wave of intelligent tooling, constantly ensuring it is leveraged appropriately and strategically for maximum impact in both new design processes and digital experiences. Relying on its technical awe alone to draw in customers is an oversight I constantly aim to help teams resolve.
Myself
I’m currently based in Austin, Texas, working as a Product Design Senior Lead at Fidelity Information Services. With almost 10 years professional experience across agencies, start-ups, and enterprises in digital product and information design, I have led projects and teams of various sizes from conception to release.
I tend to make the most impact within the strategic aspects of design, while ensuring brand and systems are both leveraged and enhanced with every release. I also hold a Masters Degree in Information Design from Design Academy Eindhoven, an renowned school in speculative design and research.
